After the success in 2000 I decided to try it again. My brother was in college at this point, so I enlisted the help of my friend Jeff Poor who at the time raced in SCCA ITS and was always up for doing crazy stuff.

The car was solid in 2000 but it was slow. With funds limited I had an NA tune engine built. This produced about 40 hp more than stock.  Other modifications that year included aerodynamics and weight reduction.

The result was better than the year before but due to an engine failure, we were unable to meet our true potential and came home empty handed.
